September 1994 / What's New / Ergonomic Monitor

Compatible with Apple and Sun SPARC systems, MAG InnoVision's (Santa Ana, CA) MXP17F monitor ($1299) has a flat-square CRT with an Invar shadow mask and an antiglare treatment. Its ultrahigh resolution goes up to 1600 by 1280 pixels noninterlaced with refresh rates of up to 120 Hz and a dot pitch of 0.26 mm. Advanced Display Calibration via an RS-232 control port lets you use all the controls with a click of your mouse and locks out other users so that they can't disturb your settings.
