A hardware-based LAN management and security device currently available for NetWare 3.x and 4.x, Network Sentry ($3000) from Cyberlock Data Intelligence (Philadelphia, PA) connects to the server but operates off-line. When you install Network Sentry, the device creates a unique identifier for each executable file on the server and then checks the identifier each time a file is executed.
