Farallon Computing's EtherWave PCMCIA Adapter connects PC notebook computers directly to 10Base-T Ethernet networks. The adapter enables multiple computers to share one network outlet. This lets network administrators provide portable users with full 10-Mbps access to network printers and servers without requiring a dedicated hub-port connection. Able to fit into any Type II or Type III PCMCIA slot, the $299 EtherWave supports PCMCIA Card and Socket Services to enable hot-swapping of different PCMCIA products.
