In the review ``Due Recognition for OCR'' (October), we did not enable the enhanced fax recognition feature for Xerox Textbridge 2.0. With the feature enabled, Textbridge achieved an 86 percent recognition rate on our fax test, up from 78 percent. In fact, by adjusting the scanner's brightness (we ran all tests with the scanner's default settings), the fax score rose to 96 percent accuracy.
