BYTE polled attendees at Fall Comdex to see which operating system and processor family will be dominant over the next five years. In operating systems, Windows 95 took the highest number of votes with 1497, almost twice the votes that OS/2 received. Attendees overall were not as definitive when answering which desktop processor will be dominant. The Pentium and PowerPC were close in the vote.
