A 28.8-Kbps cellular data/fax modem, the Mobile Plus V.34 Cellular lets you send and receive information from a mobile computer without wires. The credit-card-size modem supports more than 30 cellular phones and features direct-connect capability. When you plug in a dedicated cellular-phone cable, the card automatically changes from land-line mode to cellular mode. In addition, the Mobile Plus ($449) can store several cellular-phone configurations, eliminating the challenges associated with using more than one phone model.
