October 1995 / What's New / Internet Integration And Workgroup Collaboration

Ecco Pro 3.0 ($175) adds more than 100 features, including an Internet Address Book; AutoAssign, an organizer that categorizes information into specific Ecco folders based on user-definable rules; and a correspondence manager, which lets you automatically send faxes, E-mail, and letters to any number of contacts simultaneously. Enhancements include Notepads for outlining the details of your projects, a Rolodex card interface, tabs to switch between views, revised menus and dialog boxes, icon balloon help, and a print coach for print layouts. The Internet Address Book comes preconfigured with over 2000 gopher, World Wide Web, and FTP sites. While surfing the information highway, you can use the Shooter to send selected information from the Internet to Ecco Pro 3.0, wher e the information and its Internet address are stored. The Time and Expenses feature lets individuals and workgroups track expenses for activities such as projects and calls.
