CD Mobile is an external, double-speed CD-ROM drive and Type II PC Card interface that can be battery-powered. Fully MPC 2-compliant, the unit supports video CD, CD-I, CD-ROM Modes 1 and 2, multisession Photo CD, and CD-XA. The sustained data transfer rate is specified as 300 Kbps, while access times average around 360 ms.
