The Q-Card implements the QuickRing data-streaming technology on a low-cost PCI plug-in board and uses the QR0001 processor. The unit is capable of simultaneous transmissions and receipt of data on the QuickRing network, as well as communciations with the host over the PCI bus. Aimed at OEMs and integrators, the card plugs into any PCI-based computer, from PCs to Digital Alpha-based workstations, and provides a means of linking computers and peripheral devices.
