November 1995 / International What's New Software / Video Software Codec for CD-ROMs

Q-Motion is a new software codec that's aimed at training companies and developers of CD-ROM titles and multimedia presentations. The current release is for PCs with Sony Playstation PSX, Sega Saturn, and Jaguar formats. The system achieves TV-quality images at 15 to 20 frames per second for video and at 15 to 30 fps for computer-generated sequences.
