Omron's E5AF temperature controllers combine advanced PID (proportional, in
tegral, derivative) control with fuzzy-logic control. User-controlled fuzzy parameters improve the response to external process disturbances. Fuzzy intensity governs the magnitude of the fuzzy-logic effects on the final output. Fuzzy scale 1 governs how big the "error" range is.
