The MultiSpin 4x4 CD-ROM Changer (about $279) offers 250-ms access times and 600-KBps data transfer rates. Housed in a 5 1/4-inch form-factor, the changer can run audio CDs and complies with formats such as Enhanced Music CD, CD-I, XA, VideoCD playback, Kodak multisession and single-session PhotoCD, and QuickTime. The package includes a utility program that allows the MultiSpin 4x4 to operate as a single-drive-letter or as a four-drive-letter device.
