ACE-2000, a modular ATM access concentrator, provides the AAL1, AAL3/4, and AAL5 adaptation layers for constant, variable, and available bit-rate services. It supports legacy traffic (e.g., 64 Kbps, E1 frame relay, and SDMS) as well as native ATM. Being ETSI-compatible, t
he system is housed in a 13-slot chassis and includes two E3 or STM-1 channels. The internal cell-relay bus is able to convey 1.2 Gbps.
