MIME Sweeper protects corporate networks from viruses. You can add third-party virus-scanning packages (e.g., F-Prot, Thunderbyte, Dr. Solomon's, and Sophos) to MIME Sweeper. The software runs under Windows NT and supports cc:Mail, SMTP with MIME attachments, Microsoft Mail, and MHS. MIME Sweeper handles attachme nts by extracting and unbundling messages and attachments from the mail system and then analyzing executable files, text, binary data, and compressed files.
