Teklogix's 9300 Systems Network Controller, for wireless communications applications, is based on a Motorola 68360 32-bit processor and supports up to 40 MB of memory. Wireless protocols that address up to 4095 mobile data terminals and 255 base stations are included. The system uses either 2.4-GHz or 902-/928-MHz spread-spectrum or narrow-band technologies. It can support many base stations in a wireless LAN, Ethernet LAN, Token Ring LAN, or any combination of the three. The contr
oller can communicate with up to six host computers simultaneously. In addition, it supports DOS, AS/400, Unix, and VAX/VMS hosts and provides true plug-and-play connectivity with IBM 5251 and 3274, Hewlett-Packard 2292, and ANSI emulations.
