ECG Package for PCs

MRT International's MS200 Cardioscope is a low-cost electrocardiograph (ECG) package designed to let doctors measure, diagnose, record, log, and track patients' heart records. The package comprises a 12-channel ECG card, accessory electrodes, and ECG software for use on a standard PC. An ECG card and preconfigured software can also be preinstalled in a computer. The package requires an IBM-compatible system (386 or higher), 2 MB of RAM, a VGA monitor, 20 MB of hard disk space, and MS-DOS 3.1 or higher. The ECG board conforms to IEC.601 Type II CF; the company suggests that the computer housing the board should also meet this safety regulation.
