/ Mechanical Analysis for Windows
Artas Engineering Software now offers a Windows version (running on 3.1 or higher) of its Sam mechanism-analysis program. The package enables the motion and force analysis of planar mechanisms, which are constructed from basic elements, such as beams, hinges, belts, and gears. Within minutes, the program can analyze open-loop, closed-loop, multiple-loop, a
nd complex planetary mechanisms. In addition, it calculates nodal position, velocity, acceleration, angles, angular velocity, and acceleration, along with a wide range of values.
