Delcam's PowerMill stand-alone 3-D CAM program targets companies that need to machine models or molds with complex shapes, especially those using design systems with limited manufacturing capabilities. It runs under Windows NT. You can read CAD models into the program with ACIS, IGES, or the STL rapid-prototyping format. The program generates roughing and finishing toolpaths that optimize the productivity of CNC machine tools.
