Scientific Computers offers Maple V release 4--The Power Edition, a package that lets you solve algebraic equations on-screen. Unlike conventional algebra software, Maple V can calculate with complete algebraic expressions and formulas. The new version has expanded mathematics algorithms and new routines for piecemeal defined functions. Versions are available for Windows 95, NT, and 3.1+; OS/2; Mac and Power Mac; and diverse Unix platforms.
