Fast's video-editing board

The AV Master video-editing board transfers data at 5 MB per second without losses in audio and video quality, Fast Multimedia says. The company attributes this improved performance to new Philips PCI chips and PCI bus-master technology that shields the bus from external access in order to maximize the audio/video data stream. All FBAS and S video sources can b e connected to the card. The board supports PAL and NTSC signals with full resolution. The system requires at least a 486 processor and a motherboard that can work as a bus master.
