Siemens Nixdorf's RM600 multiprocessor systems now include 250-MHz R4400 chips and 15-ns second-level caches, enabling faster processing and transaction rates. These Unix servers offer new clustering features and on-line replacement functionality. Mass-stor age devices can be accessed via a "wide and fast" SCSI interface. The systems can be deployed with up to 24 parallel processors.
