ArticlesRVS-COM: One Communications Program for ISDN and Modems

July 1996 / International What's New / RVS-COM: One Communications Program for ISDN and Modems
Rainer Mauth

The new version of RVS-COM for Windows 95 provides powerful communications capabilities for modems and ISDN. It lets you control virtually any kind of data communications on a PC, such as file and fax transfer, terminal emulation, remote control, mailbox, and Internet access. It gives you the same functionality if you use a modem or an ISDN board. In addition, the program provides direct e-mail transfer from the Microsoft Exchange client to any remote PC. After connecting two Windows 95 PCs with RVS-COM, you can copy files from a remote machine by simply dragging and dropping the icons, as in Windows 95 Explorer.

RVS-COM for Windows 95 closely i ntegrates with Windows 95 in that it supports TAPI, UniModem, VCOMM, MAPI, and OLE. It seamlessly extends Windows 95 communication s to ISDN and gives all you need for data communications in business and at home.
