ArticlesSGML Toolkit

July 1996 / International What's New / SGML Toolkit

IDM is a toolkit for developers of SGML systems that hides much of the complexity of SGML behind an easy-to-understand interface. It features a suite of formatting engines to allow automatic conversion from SGML documents to Windows Help, Lotus Notes, or HTML files. The product comes in a Professional Edition, which includes a comprehensive API, and in a Personal Edition, for users with minimal knowledge of SGML.

Price: $495 for the Personal Edition; Professional Edition starts at $4500.
