July 1996 / International What's New / CD-ROM Server Manages Up to Seven Drives

The DP300 is a series of SCSI-2-based CD-ROM servers with up to seven CD-ROM drives that can run in Ethernet or token-ring LANs. The machines deploy quad- and six-speed drives that you can access via the following network protocols: IPX, TCP/IP, and NetBEUI. DP300 servers work autonomously as regular file servers without requiring additional access software. Their external SCSI connectors allow you to link additional SCSI devices.
