Providing GSM data and fax services for 13 European countries, the Gold Card GSM PC Card conforms to the international GSM standard. It's capable of working with Alcatel and Panasonic GSM handsets and comes in V.34 and V.32 version s. The vendor says its older Gold Cards can be upgraded to support GSM -- just exchange the device's flash memory.
