D-Link's DE-1824 series of stackable 10Base-T hubs offers video display of statistics, diagnostic information, and segmentation of a network from a management station. Up to eight hubs can be linked, with seven client hubs sharing an SNMP management agent of a master hub. Each hub comes with 24 twisted-pair ports in one low-profile, rack-mountable case. The RJ-45 po rts support both UTP and STP cable, while a recessed AUI slot is provided for flexible connection to the thin coax, thick coax, and fiber cable through any standard-size transceiver.
