FOM-E1/T1, a fiber modem, converts electrical E1 or T1 signals into optical signals. With FOM-E1/T1 you can deploy E1/T1 equipment while you switch your cabling to fiber optics. Th e system works over a distance of 50 kilometers. It comes as a standard E1 add-in board.
