SmartView lets a pool of servers share keyboard, video, and mouse. The device supports any mix of AT and PS/2 keyboards and PS/2 and RS-232 mice. An autoboot function reboots shut-down servers automatically. The devices support two or four servers and can be cascaded to form a video-switching network. Additional features include a security function (password for access), screen-saver mode, and variable scan rates between active ports.
