The AcerNote Nuovo is a sleek midran
ge notebook featuring a heuristic power management system that offers 5 to 8 hours of battery life. Powered by a 133- or 150-MHz Pentium, the Nuovo weighs 7 pounds and comes with an 11.3-, 11.8-, or a 12.1-inch TFT or DSTN LCD screen.
Future System
The 1997 version of the AcerNote Nuovo will be based on the 166- to 200-MHz P55C with MMX. It will come with a 12.1-inch TFT LCD with 800- by 600-pixel resolution. Models will offer 2 GB of storage, Fast IrDA, CardBus, and an internal modem.
