OctoMail Gate is a mail gateway for MS Exchange. It lets all e-mail users on a LAN share a single Internet account. The system deploys the POP3 mail protocol, not SMTP, so it offers an individual mailbox for all Exchange users. For dial-up lines, you can configure OctoMail Gate so that it automatically ch ecks e-mail on a regular basis and reports the status of the inbox and outbox. OctoMail Gate also manages message traffic at several Internet accounts.
