How do you distribute an HTML document to someone who hasn't connected to the Web yet? (There are plenty of stand-alone PCs out there.) InfoCourier (IC) solves this problem by compiling HTML documents into an executable file, so you can distribute it to such users. When the recipient activates the file, the IC run-time browser displays the pages as if viewing them on the Internet. If, against all odds, the recipient happens to be on-line and has a standard browser, he or she can click on links in the document and view URLs on-line.
