Anthropos 4 is a library of digital human mock-ups that helps designers and engineers simulate ergonomic behavior of machines while they are still in the virtual stage. Anthropos models consist of 90 parts and 3200 skin points. Their movement apparatus includes a 24-part spine and fi ve-finger hands. The program is written in C and C++ and completely integrates with such CAD programs as AutoCAD, Cadkey, CADDS 5, and CATIA.
