Providing two independently configurable RS-232 ports, the Velocity 232 serial communications card achieves data transfer rates of up to 921,600 bps. It uses a 16750 UART with 64-byte FIFO buffers supporting multitasking O Ses such as Windows 95, OS/2, and Windows NT. The card aims at driving high-speed modem and ISDN applications.
