With the MC218 Trio modem PC Card, you can send and receive data and faxes by analog and digital land-line as well as by GSM connections. The modem transfers data at 33.6 Kbps and faxes at 14.4 Kbps. It provides 2X 64 Kbps over ISDN and 9.6 Kbps on the GSM mobile network. You can switch from one function to another simply by swapping cables. The sys
tem works with GSM handsets from Alcatel, AEG, Nortel, Nokia, Motorola, Panasonic, Siemens, and Sony and supports such communications interfaces as CAPI 2.0, TAPI, and V.120.
