Taking Sides

Most people I know are taking sides in some sort of PC versus NetPC/Java/Internet paradigm. I think that's unfortunate. It was refreshing to see you take a balanced view in your editorial ("Cadillacs and Cherokees," February). I am glad t hat BYTE has not taken the position of most (it seems) technical journalists, who only quote sales statistics anymore.
