/ Hard Drives for PCs and Workstations
For all of us craving more disk space, Micropolis introduces two new lines of hard drives for performance PCs, entry-level servers, and workstations. The Stinger ($550) is a 3-1/2-inch 4.3-GB UltraSCSI hard drive designed for entry-level servers and workstations. It has a 512-KB buffer and 5400-rpm rotational speed for low noise and heat production, and low po
wer consumption without performance loss. The Mustang 3-1/2-inch drive, for high-end PCs and workstations, offers 5200 rpm and 2.5, 4, or 5 GB ($250, $300, and $400, respectively).
