The EggCam Coo-Coo Ca-Choo

The Panasonic EggCam ($199) is a 3.2- inch-high by 1.6-inch-wide by 1.8-inch-deep desktop video camera for 24-bit color e-mail video. The camera can capture images as close as 3.9 inches away and out to infinity, and produces images with up to 542 by 496 pixels and 330 TV lines of horizontal resolution. There is a built-in microphone for capturing audio. EggCam is designed for personal v ideo messages that you can capture and compress with bundled SmithMicro VideoLink Mail software for e-mail attachments. The bundled CU-SeeMe software makes real-time videoconferencing possible.
