The Lexmark 1000 offers 600- by 600- dpi color printing for a mere $139. Measuring 14.2 inches wide, 6.3 inches deep, and 6 inches high, the unit weighs 8-1/2 pounds. Its paper-handling tray holds 30 sheets, it can print 3.5 ppm in black ink and 1.5 ppm
in color, and it handles banner printing, manually fed envelopes, and transparencies. It works with Windows 95, 3.1, and 3.11.
