The ShowBase Extra 2.0 program ($1499 to $4499, depending on platform) converts dBase, ODBC-compliant, MARC, ASCII, and comma-delimited database files into Internet-ready pages without requiring HTML coding. A Wizard interface facilitates the point-and-click conversion of files into Web-ready documents, and ShowBase Extra refreshes documents periodically from a database, eliminating the need to manually update Web pages created with this prog
ram. ShowBase Extra has a search engine that supports seven languages, and it supports 40 database packages, including Oracle, Sybase, Informix, and DB2. With bundled Java APIs, users can build custom front-end interfaces.
