CDCrypt, an encrypting board for CD-ROMs, supports ISO-9660 formats and protects access to CD-ROM content with a 112-bit algorithm. The professional version contains encrypting and decrypting software, two smartcard readers to store keys, and the PC board, which encodes 650 M B in approximately 8 minutes. The software package alone is available as a Personal Edition, including a database for keys and addresses.
