The latest Hewlett-Packard 300 Series palmtop PC, the 360LX, offers a higher-contrast screen, more processing power, and more memory than previous-generation HP palmtop systems. It includes direct-printing capabilities, runs Windows CE 2.0, and has a Type II PC Card slot. The 360LX ($699) includes
a 640- by 240-pixel, 80-column screen with white backlighting and 16 shades of gray, 8 MB of ROM and 8 MB of RAM on-board, and a 60-MHz processor.
