Energize an ordinary PC with 64-bit 3-D graphics and NTSC/PAL or S-video output. The California Graphics Hawk 3D Pro TV graphics accelerator ($179), which is based on the S3 ViRGE/GX2 chip, has 4 MB of SGRAM. It delivers 3-D functions such as f ogging, bilinear and trilinear filtering, alpha blending, perspective correction, and 30-fps DVD playback with TV output.
