Starting at $1995, the Maxserver, which has four or eight ports and speeds up to 115.2 Kbps, supports IPX, TCP/IP, LAT, PPP, SLIP, CSLIP, and remote and local dial-up access. It offers a variet
y of local and remote management options, a graphical configuration tool, security-authentication options, and expandable memory ranging from 4 to 6 MB of RAM.
