For $699 the MIP-650 has a 600-dpi, 6-page- per-minute laser printer, a 14.4-Kbps modem, up to 1 MB of fax memory, and PC phone and fax-handling software. The built-in scanner can scan 64 levels of grayscale at 400-dpi resolution.
