Using advanced CCD technology, the Canon DM-MV1 digital-video camcorder lets you capture video and still photos with one device. Besides offering a normal, interlaced video mode, the unit has a Progressive Scanning feature that reads optical information frame by frame, producing sharp and flicker-free still
pictures. The camera also includes a color viewfinder, a 2-inch LCD monitor, 14X optical and 35X digital zoom functions, and an optical image stabilizer.
