ArticlesNew Video-Converter Card

January 1998 / International What's New / New Video-Converter Card

To display composite or S-VHS PAL video on SVGA LCD flat-panel displays, the Videomate 3 converter card automatically scans, deinterlaces, and converts captured video signals. It uses a specialized photo-scan chip that supports as many as 262,000 colors. All signals re-main digital throughout the conversion process, so full -motion video is displayed without interlacing or interfield motion distortions. The unit's optional RGB output provides connectivity with standard SVGA monitors.
