ArticlesEAS Links SNA Networks

March 1998 / International What's New / EAS Links SNA Networks

Eicon's Enterprise Access Server (EAS) 3.1, a rack-mountable communications server, facilitates the migration of SNA networks from leased and switched lines to ISDN. It connects to an SNA host via Token Ring or Ethernet and is designed to replace SDLC links with ISDN. EAS supports up to four ISDN PRI connect ions, which are active only during data transfer. Through 3270 and 5250 terminal emulation, as well as APPC links, you can easily connect remote clients.
