Stealth has introduced the Model LPC-401FL LittlePC, a fanless, compact PC for space challenged applications. It measures 10" by 5.82" by 2.79" (about the size of a hard cover novel) in size, and it has been designed without cooling fans, as the extruded aluminum chassis acts as a heat sink to dissipate internal heat and provide noise free operation. The LPC-401FL features an Intel Pentium 4 Celeron processor clocked at 1.33 GHz. I/O connectivity built in includes LAN, Serial, Parallel, 3-USB 2.0, FireWire, VGA, PS/2 Mouse and Keyboard ports. The LPC-401FL has a built-in 2.5" high-shock hard drive with up to 80 GB of storage space. For applications that require extra high shock/vibration, an optional Solid State Hard Drive or Flash Drive is available.

The Vancouver design team that created the KoolSink, a solution to the problem of overheating PowerBook laptops, has now created a
model sized for PC laptops with 17" displays. This new model—the 'XL' KoolSink—is 16.2" by 11.5" and continues the classic KoolSink look and function, being made of silver anodized aluminum alloy, and providing cooling by drawing off unwanted laptop heat by both conduction and convection. In addition to the critical heat reducing function, the KoolSink also improves the user's
comfort by tilting the keyboard to a more ergonomically correct position.<>
