What’s your “Why”?
My “why” starts with my 2-year-old son. I want him to know that if you work hard and do things the right way, you’ll be happy in your profession. I also love being part of the progressive change in our industry. We are at the forefront of these changes, and I find that exciting and very rewarding.
-
How long have you been at Byte?
I have been at Byte for a year and a half. It has been incredible to watch our teams, customer base and company grow exponentially over this time.
-
Where did you work prior to Byte?
Prior to working at Byte, I worked as a chairside dental hygienist in a multi-specialty dental office. I have been in the dental field for 13 years.
-
What was important to you when you were looking for your next role and applying at Byte?
To be part of making orthodontics more accessible by making it affordable and something we can help our customers do from the comfort of their homes. Help to eliminate the anxiety associated with visiting a dental office in person and provide greater access to many of those same people I would see chairside that dreaded or were fearful coming into the office or simply could not afford it. I’ve learned more in a year and a half at Byte about how a successful company that cares about their customers and employees operates, recognizes talent, and rewards hard work and dedication than I ever would have in a lifetime as a chairside hygienist. Also, to have a job in the field I love that I can perform in a completely new setting is an incredible gift, and I am so truly grateful for this opportunity.

What advice would you give for someone who is looking to move up at Byte?
Work hard, stay focused, be productive, have fun and people will absolutely notice. We are a big company that feels like a small group of friends. We agree, we have disagreements- all to help this company grow in the most effective way while keeping our customers happy with our product and support. Your work will have an impact on Byte’s success, no matter what your role is.
